"O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together." Psalm 34:3

This is our teen verse and is quoted regularly by our group as we attempt to stay focused on our goal to magnify our Lord together at church, while on activities, or even when at home alone. What a privilege to magnify our God by our lives!

The Bethany teen program combines practical Bible training, service activities, and exciting fun activities.

Teen activities:

• Sunday School - Every Sunday morning at 9:30 our teens are challenged with practical lessons from God's Word.
• Teen Training - On Wednesday evenings we meet at 7:00 for singing, prayer, and practical Bible lessons that impact everyday life.
• Kingsbridge Ministry - The first Wednesday of each month, the teens visit the Kingsbridge Nursing Home, where they spend time with the residents and participate in ministry activities.
• Teen Warm-Up - On the third Wednesday of each month, we meet at 6:15 p.m. for 45 minutes of fun, unusual games before starting teen training at 7:00 p.m.

Monthly activities:

These activities are a mix of service and fun; usually it is hard to tell the difference! Whether serving in the community or enjoying fellowship at a zany competition, our teens love being together no matter what they are doing.

Excursions:

The areas surrounding Brevard offer some breath-taking sights. Weather permitting we visit some of the natural wonders in our area on Sunday afternoons.
As the youth director, my goal is to help our teens realize their potential to live for Christ NOW! As they grow to know their God and their dependency on Him, they will learn the importance of serving Him and others.
