Welcome to Bethany Baptist Church in the Land of Waterfalls, Brevard, North Carolina.  We are an independent Baptist church, focusing on the expository preaching of the Word of God and refreshing, conservative music.  Our friendly congregation would love to have you visit!


We are located about 2 miles southeast of downtown Brevard off highway 276.  Go 1 mile past Brevard Elementary School and turn left on Bert Lane Road.  Look for Bethany Baptist Church at the top of the hill.  Visitor and handicapped parking is available.

  • We will observe communion in the a.m. service.
  • Ladies' ensemble - 4:15; choir -5:00; script rehearsal - 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 10
  • Choir will meet in the auditorium for cantata rehearsal.  Prayer meeting will be held in the fellowship hall; K4T will meet in the college/career classroom.
Saturday, December 13
  • Cantata dress rehearsal - time TBA...light breakfast and lunch will be served.
Sunday, December 14
  • Our Christmas cantata, "But What of Christ?" will be presented in the evening service at 6:00 p.m.  Come and hear the Christmas story from the perspective of the innkeeper and the shepherd and their sons through music and drama.  Nursery will be provided for children 2 and under.
  • In preparation for the cantata, the choir and cast will rehearse at 4:00 p.m.  Light snacks will be provided after the rehearsal.
Wednesday, December 17
  • Our annual Christmas banquet will be held at THE WILDS at 6:30 p.m.  Cost and menu TBA soon.  For more information, call the church office.
